Drone Survey & Photogrammetric Mapping

Survey-grade aerial mapping with DGPS-controlled ground truth — from flight planning and DGCA compliance to orthomosaics, terrain models and CAD/GIS deliverables your engineers can use the same week.

Why drone survey beats conventional methods

A drone survey captures in days what chain-and-total-station methods take months to cover — with a continuous, verifiable photographic record of the entire site. For an 888-acre township site we mapped in Jharkhand, a single drone dataset produced the ortho base map, a 19 cm terrain model, drainage analysis and the complete plot subdivision plan.

Accuracy is engineered, not assumed: every KE2 mission flies over a DGPS-fixed ground control network, and every deliverable ships with a control-point accuracy report so your QC team can verify residuals before accepting the data.

What we map

Township and R&R site planning, road and canal corridors, industrial plots, quarry and mine leases, plantation and forest blocks, urban wards for ULB GIS-MIS programmes, and flood-affected or project-displacement areas requiring rapid, defensible documentation.

Missions are flown by trained pilots under DGCA rules with all permissions handled by us — including operations in sensitive or monsoon-window conditions common in Odisha and Jharkhand field seasons.

From pixels to engineering data

Raw images become orthomosaics, dense point clouds, DSM/DTM surfaces, contours at your specified interval, and feature-extracted vector layers — delivered in open formats (GeoTIFF, LAS/LAZ, Shapefile, GeoJSON, DWG) that load directly into QGIS, AutoCAD-compatible software and your existing GIS databases.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is a drone survey compared to DGPS ground survey?
With a proper DGPS-controlled GCP network, drone photogrammetry achieves horizontal accuracy of roughly 1–2× the GSD — i.e. 5–10 cm on a 5 cm mission — verified against independent checkpoints. For plot demarcation and legal boundaries we combine both: drone for full coverage, DGPS for boundary control.
How large an area can you survey, and how fast?
Single-site missions of 100–1,000+ acres are routine; corridor projects run tens of kilometres. Field capture typically takes 1–3 days per site; processed deliverables follow in 1–3 weeks depending on area and outputs.
Do you handle drone permissions?
Yes. All flights are conducted under DGCA rules by trained pilots, and we manage the applicable permissions and airspace requirements as part of the project.
What do you need from us to quote?
Site location (KML or coordinates), approximate area or corridor length, required accuracy/GSD, and the deliverables you need. With that we can price within one working day — use the RFP form to attach your KML.
